Personal

Mr. Sheridan grew up on a Native American Indian Reservation in Northern Wisconsin and currently lives with his wife and two daughters in a suburb of Chicago. He speaks beginning level Japanese and Spanish. Outside of the office, Mr. Sheridan has been an avid, high-altitude mountaineer. He has climbed in the Himalayas (Multiple peaks and trails in the Annapurna region of Nepal), Africa (19,700-foot Mt. Kilimanjaro), Argentina (23,000-foot Mt. Aconcagua), and Russia (18,510-foot Mt. Elbrus). His most recent Seven-Summit climbing expedition was on 20,320-foot Denali (Mt. McKinley) in Alaska. He also has plans to climb Mount Blanc in the Alps this year. Interestingly, Kevin's high altitude mountaineering has provided great insight into his consulting as well as his clients, primarily since he has drawn significant connections between mountain climbing and the preparation and attempt to build true and sustainable Employee Engagement. Other hobbies include fly-fishing, snow and water skiing, and traveling. His personal and professional travels have brought him to over sixty-five different countries.

He currently volunteers as a fundraiser for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and Thresholds, a non-profit care center for individuals who are both homeless and mentally ill. Previous volunteer work includes tutoring for the Literacy Council of Northern Virginia and cooking/counseling at a Washington, D.C. shelter for homeless men.
