We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager. We offer a competitive salary, a comprehensive benefits package, and excellent opportunity for growth. The Business Development Mananger is responsible for driving new business through cold calling, preferred provider relationships, networking (alliance partners, HR user groups, contacts, etc.), and sales lists.
Competency: Sales / New Business Development
- Driving new business through cold calling, preferred provider relationships, networking (alliance partners, HR user groups, contacts, etc.), sales lists, etc.
- Increase and sell our management consulting services. Communicate to our clients our overall services (i.e. performance management, teambuilding, etc.) in that arena.
- Conducting sales presentations and conference calls to prospective clients and current clients.
This competency is illustrated by completing the following tasks:
- New business generated.
- Management consulting services increased and sold.
- Ability to interact with senior level management.
Competency: Written/Verbal Communication
- Answer sales inquiries, qualifying potential clients on actual needs.
- Write clear and detailed client communications including emails, sales, etc.
- Write tailored proposals when required.
- Write pitch letters when required.
- Create and proof sales presentations in PowerPoint.
- Ability to effectively interact with top executives, middle management, and professional, technical, and clinical staff, as well as support/clerical staff, production workers, etc.
This competency is illustrated by completing the following tasks:
- Fully understand the sales process and what HR Solutions can offer its clients.
- Fully understand the internal survey process so all questions can be answered.
Competency: Results-Driven Performance
The Business Development Manager will:
- Generate new business sales of $500,000.
- Bachelors Degree required (Business Administration, Human Resources Management, Organizational Development/Effectiveness, Psychology, or related field preferred).
- Masters Degree preferred.
- Minimum three years experience in sales capacity.
- Experience in Human Resources Management, Organizational Development/ Effectiveness, Business Administration, Management, or related field preferred.
Requirements:
- Full-time position.
- Ability to travel 20%+ of work time, (at times on short notice).
- Solid working knowledge of MS Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
