AtlantiCare Case Study

AtlantiCare is a well-respected network of hospitals and care facilities in Southeastern New Jersey. With 65 locations and roughly 5,000 employees, AtlantiCare is the region’s largest healthcare provider. As the 2009 winner of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award, AtlantiCare staff has led the way in providing quality care.

AtlantiCare partnered with HR Solutions to conduct an Employee Engagement Survey in 2008 and again in 2009. In between the two surveys, they made a number of changes and implemented many new programs in response to the areas for improvement discovered in the survey results. The outcome of these initiatives is evident in 2009 survey scores.
