HR Solutions is an international management consulting firm that provides opinion survey instruments, training and development services, management assessments, and results-oriented advisory services. Competency: Facilitation
- Conduct employee feedback sessions to garner comprehensive qualitative data validating or refuting statistical results.
- Qualitative data must include examples, suggestions, ideas, etc. in order to provide client with actionable results.
- Assist Management with action planning.
- Extract concrete qualitative data from all levels of employees and managers based on statistical results.
This competency is illustrated by completing the following tasks:
- Knowledge of the clients overall and departmental scores and where to probe to ensure high quality and actionable feedback sessions.
- Gathering quick wins and having a meaningful discussion with the client after feedback has been concluded.
Competency: Presentation Skills (when trained)
- Present initial survey results to client's senior management.
- Present final report findings.
- Conduct on-site or conference sales calls.
- Speaking engagements.
This competency is illustrated by completing the following tasks:
- Thorough knowledge of the quantitative and qualitative data gathered from the survey process.
- Communicate learned best practices and recommendations to the clients and/or seminar participants.
Competency: Coaching/Guidance
- Coach management on how to effectively respond to survey results at the interim phase of the process.
- Conduct training for internal survey administrators and internal feedback facilitators, as requested by clients.
- Conduct training for survey results interpretation and analysis, as well as communication and action planning, as requested by clients.
- Coach client's senior management on the Post-Survey Communication and Action Planning process.
- Coordinate team building for specific clients.
- Provide guidance and direction to more junior consultants, project coordinators, administrative staff, etc.
- Provide clear feedback to other consultants on their work, especially with the feedback process.
- Provide input in other staff's performance reviews as needed.
- Provide insight and ideas for new products and services for HR Solutions.
- Provide creative ideas for improving efficiency and effectiveness of processes and services.
This competency is illustrated by completing the following tasks:
- Knowledge of the products and services HR Solutions can offer.
- Learning and developing overall industry knowledge.
- Understanding the HR Solutions survey methodology and consulting practices.
Competency: Written/Verbal Communication
- Answer sales inquiries, qualifying potential clients on actual needs.
- Work with client to establish proper Feedback session schedule, including specific work groups with lower/higher satisfaction levels.
- Write clear and detailed feedback summaries.
- Write Final Report with concrete and actionable recommendations.
- Prepare final report presentation.
- Develop custom recommendations to address client opportunities for improvement.
- Ability to effectively interact with top executives, upper management, middle management, and professional, technical, and clinical staff, as well as support/clerical staff, production workers, etc.
This competency is illustrated by completing the following tasks:
- Fully understanding the sales process and what HR Solutions can offer our clients.
- Developing creative and comprehensive recommendations that can be implemented by our clients.
- Probing employees using the analysis and department specific data.
Competency: Knowledge of HR-related topics/workplace issues
- Manage and conduct other consulting projects as necessary, i.e., job task analysis, management assessments, training, communication processes, etc.
- Provide ongoing consulting and coaching to all clients.
- Work with Senior Management to create a list of additional items to probe during feedback.
This competency is illustrated by completing the following tasks:
- Bringing new ideas and topics relating to HR to the team through research.
- Developing new products or services that HR Solutions can provide to our clients through research or best practices identified by clients.
Competency: Self-Train and perform with minimal guidance
- Analyze statistical survey results.
- Prepare initial survey results for presentation to Senior Management.
- At times, Consultants may need to assist the Project Managers in the following duties:
- Survey design (entire survey for customized surveys, or Supplemental survey items for Core surveys). May include specialized supplements focused on primary areas such as turnover retention, union vulnerability, communication, corporate culture, empowerment, trust, etc.
- Prepare Survey Coding Instructions and Demographic breakouts.
- Prepare/Create Supplemental Questions.
- Assist clients with survey communication planning.
- Assist clients with survey administration scheduling.
- Prepare/Create Data Results Book Layouts.
- Conduct survey administration.
- Prepare proposals to include accurate budgets.
- Answer/respond to RFP's.
- Inform current clients of additional services which may benefit the client during the survey process, such as tracking control sheets, additional surveys, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
This competency is illustrated by completing the following tasks:
- Knowledge of statistical methods and being able to discuss with clients or employees in an understandable manner.
- Knowledge of HR Solutions products and services.
- Knowledge of the survey items/instruments.
Competency: Results-Driven Performance
The Consultant will:- Generate billing revenue of at least, $100,000 per calendar year.
- Develop new consulting services or products.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelors Degree required (Business Administration, Human Resources Management, Organizational Development/Effectiveness, Psychology, or related field preferred)
- Masters Degree preferred
- Experience in Human Resources Management, Organizational Development/ Effectiveness, Business Administration, Management, or related field preferred.
Requirements:
- Full-time position.
- Ability to travel 25% to 50% of work time, (at times on short notice).
- Solid working knowledge of MS Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)

- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong inter-personal skills, relationship building, executive credibility.
- Ability to analyze both statistical data and qualitative data to form sound conclusions and recommendations.
