Diversity Surveys
The primary goal of a Diversity Survey is to bring more innovation, creativity, and energy to an organization. Our diversity surveys assist organizations in conducting a full exploration of employees' views on diversity, in order to determine where policies/procedures, education, and/or training on this important issue are most needed. HR Solutions' Employee Engagement research is clear; a more engaged workforce results in better financial performance due to reduced absenteeism, better customer relations, and increased productivity. Engaged employees have a sense of ownership, which leads to innovation and organizational progress.
HR Solutions conducted a study using extensive employee data from three of its most popular diversity survey items. The research unveiled a correlation between diversity satisfaction and Engagement/Overall Job Satisfaction. In fact, our findings indicate that when diversity satisfaction is high, employees are more likely to be Engaged.
Disregarding the importance of workplace diversity is a thing of the past; this study provides ground-breaking evidence that diversity satisfaction is a key component of Employee Engagement. Chief Executive Officers and General Managers who have neglected the importance and value of diversity efforts can no longer afford to do so.
It is important to realize that no amount of work in the area of diversity will make a positive difference if employees at all levels of the organization do not support the diversity efforts. That is why we begin our survey process by including key employees in the diversity survey design. Managers, as well as line-level employees, need to understand that diversity is essential, both from a business and an employee-relations standpoint. This involvement not only helps to mold the survey into a custom instrument, but also prompts these individuals' anticipation and acceptance of the survey results and action plans later in the process.
