
Joseph Collins

Mr. Collins leads HR Solutions project management and production personnel to ensure the highest level of quality and client satisfaction. In this role, Mr. Collins is responsible for all aspects of client engagements which include establishing detailed business requirements, metrics and budget approval to successful project completion, and continuous tracking and improvement. Leveraging his expert project knowledge experience, Mr. Collins designs, implements and assesses the effectiveness of standardized project management processes and procedures throughout the organization. This includes standardized project documentation and methodology and project tracking and reporting procedures. Additionally, he provides internal direction to his team to drive behaviors toward the attainment of successful project completion, including project initiation, scoping and approval, customer focus, change management, process redesign, project staffing and project implementation.
Mr. Collins project management experience stems from a background in business development and advertising at Jack Levy Associates and The Gams Group. He was responsible for creating and managing a number of product promotions and campaigns for national clients such as Honeywell, Shure, Alburto Culver Professionals, and McCormick Distilling Company. Prior to joining HR Solutions, Mr. Collins was employed by the Development Office as a Project Manager within the College of Social Science at his alma mater, Michigan State University. Under the College of Social Science, he was charged with determining the influencing factors of alumni endowments among the University's top contributing alumni; he led and managed all related survey construction and the analysis of the resulting data; the findings led to a greater allocation of human resources and funding.
Personal
Mr. Collins received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Michigan State University, graduating with an emphasis in Marketing. He achieved his Master of Arts Degree in Communication also from Michigan State University, with a focus on Organizational Behavior. Outside of the office, Mr. Collins enjoys scuba diving for wrecks both in the frigid Great Lakes and the warmer waters abroad. He also participates as a divemaster assisting in the instruction of the local scuba diving community. Other hobbies include volleyball, weightlifting, and traveling. He has also been involved with several charitable events such as Children's Memorial Hospital's "Step Up for Kids" and the Art Institute of Chicago's Holiday Treasure Hunt and Tea Party.
