Kevin A. Sheridan








Mr. Sheridan is Chief Executive Officer and Chief Consultant of HR Solutions, Inc. and directs all survey work conducted by the firm. He has extensive experience in the field, having co-founded three successful survey-related organizations.

Mr. Sheridan received a Masters in Business Administration from the Harvard Business School in June 1988, concentrating his degree in Managerial Decision-making and Strategy, Human Resources Management, and Organizational Behavior.

Prior to business school, Mr. Sheridan spent four years with the Chase Manhattan Bank, N.A. in New York City, London, and Japan. As Relationship Manager and Second Vice President, he directed Chase's business relationships with 37 Japanese banks and trading companies and eight Australian banks;financial arrangements with these organizations exceeded $10 billion. A previous assignment as Assistant Treasurer and Credit Analyst entailed reviewing the Bank's $60 billion loan portfolio on a global basis and included work in more than 40 countries.

While attending Harvard, Mr. Sheridan worked for Goldman, Sachs & Co., working in the Fixed Income Sales & Trading Division and completing two special projects for the firm's Chief Executive Officer.

After Harvard, Mr. Sheridan founded Collegiate Research Services, Inc. (CRS). CRS was established for the sole purpose of introducing the American Career and College Entry Service (ACCES), a unique and cost-free service for high school students in America. Featured in numerous publications including Business Week and USA Today, ACCES used a survey to create the first electronic link between students and organizations that provide opportunities for further education and training (i.e. postsecondary schools and employers). More than half of all high schools in the country (comprising seven million students) agreed to participate in the service.

Mr. Sheridan earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, with Honors, at Ripon College in Ripon, Wisconsin. He served three three-year terms on the College's Alumni Board of Directors.

Mr. Sheridan has done consulting for some of the world's largest corporations and has earned several distinctive awards and honors. One of his most notable recognitions was for the creation of HR360, which won Human Resource Executive Magazine's HR Product of the Year Award. He is a frequent speaker at national and international conventions, and his work has appeared in: The Wall Street Journal, American Banker, Hospitals Magazine, Inc. Magazine, United Airlines' Hemispheres Magazine, Human Resources Executive Magazine, HR Magazine, Human Resources Administrator, Society For Human Resources Management's HR News Online, Business Insurance Magazine, Modern Healthcare, and Hospital and Health Networks Magazine, The Health Care Service Leader, Healthcare Facilities Management, Healthcare Human Resources, Materials Management Magazine, Training Magazine, The Employment Paper, Crain's Chicago Business, The Chicago Tribune, and Entrepreneur Magazine.

Personal

Mr. Sheridan grew up on a Native American Indian Reservation in Northern Wisconsin and currently lives with his wife and two daughters in a suburb of Chicago. He speaks beginning level Japanese and Spanish. When not working, Mr. Sheridan has been an avid, albeit amateur, mountain climber. He has climbed in the Himalayas, Africa (19,700-foot Mt. Kilimanjaro), Argentina (23,000-foot Mt. Aconcagua), and Russia (18,510-foot Mt. Elbrus). His most recent 7-summit climbing expedition was on 20,320-foot Mt. McKinley in Alaska. Other hobbies include fly-fishing, snow and water skiing, and traveling. His personal and professional travels have brought him to over 65 different countries.

He currently volunteers as a fund raiser for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and Thresholds, a non-profit care center for individuals who are both homeless and mentally ill. Previous volunteer work includes tutoring for the Literacy Council of Northern Virginia and cooking/counseling at a Washington, D.C. shelter for homeless men.
