As the Chief Human Resources Officer, you would be responsible for strategic and operational deployment of Banner Health human resources processes and initiatives at Platte County Memorial Hospital. In partnership with corporate and regional resources you would oversee human resource functions within the facility. You would be a member of the region's Human Resources Leadership Team and the facility's Leadership Council. On the regional leadership team you would participate in determining and setting the human resources direction for the region. On the facility leadership team you would provide guidance to leaders, directors and managers with an emphasis on creating an environment that supports Banner's mission, vision and values as well as a culture focused on employee engagement and patient satisfaction. You would also provide administrative direction to the facility Human Resource team.

The University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC) has been serving the population of Mississippi and surrounding areas for more than 50 years. UMMC is the health sciences campus of the University of Mississippi. THE POSITION
The Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) is charged with both strategic and tactical programs in human resources and provides direction and visionary leadership in all facets of this field. This senior management position reports to the Associate Vice Chancellor for Administrative Affairs of UMMC. As a key member of the leadership team, the CHRO serves as a key resource and advisor to members of the executive team on all human resource needs and counsels and consults at all levels of the organization, which has more than 7,000 staff members. The CHRO will have 11 director reports and supervise a staff of 40.

VP, HR - OWN (Oprah Winfrey Network) - Los Angeles - CA
Position Summary:
The VP, HR is a key member of the OWN leadership team responsible for supporting the cable network and all digital assets. This position will report directly to the CEO OWN (Oprah Winfrey Network) and functionally to the SEVP, HR Discovery Communications.
OWN will be a new multi-platform venture designed to empower, entertain and uplift. OWN will debut in the second half of 2009 as a multi-platform media venture, featuring OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network, (currently Discovery Health Channel) in more than 70 million homes, and the award-winning digital platform, Oprah.com which is based in Chicago. OWN staff and operations will be based in Los Angeles.
The position is responsible for the overall strategic direction of Human Resources. The VP, HR also partners with the key human resource specialist areas including compensation, benefits, learning & organizational development at Discovery Communications in delivering services and products. The role will be the key interface on Payroll and Benefits which will be provided by an outside vendor. The position is also responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, evaluation and coordination of divisional financial and budgeting processes pertaining to headcount. Headcount for OWN and the Digital Assets is projected at 160.
