THE POSITION The Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) is charged with both strategic and tactical programs in human resources and provides direction and visionary leadership in all facets of this field. This senior management position reports to the Associate Vice Chancellor for Administrative Affairs of UMMC. As a key member of the leadership team, the CHRO serves as a key resource and advisor to members of the executive team on all human resource needs and counsels and consults at all levels of the organization, which has more than 7,000 staff members. VP, HR - OWN (Oprah Winfrey Network) - Los Angeles - CA

Position Summary: The VP, HR is a key member of the OWN leadership team responsible for supporting the cable network and all digital assets. This position will report directly to the CEO OWN (Oprah Winfrey Network) and functionally to the SEVP, HR Discovery Communications. OWN staff and operations will be based in Los Angeles. The position is responsible for the overall strategic direction of Human Resources.
